Miloš Stanković, a member of the Presidency of the New Democratic Party of Serbia, announced today that a party Presidency meeting will be held on Thursday to discuss decisions related to the upcoming repeat elections in Belgrade.

Speaking on N1 television, Stanković emphasized that the opposition has shown strength in being able to reach new elections.

„It is up to us in the opposition to synchronize demands, present them, and consistently fight for them. Elections must be held under fair and just conditions, different from those in December,“ said Stanković.

He stated that no one in the opposition is demanding anything out of caprice, but only fair and honest electoral conditions, as prescribed by the laws and the Constitution of Serbia.

Stanković pointed out that President of the ruling Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) Aleksandar Vučić is belittling even members of his own party, adding that one should not be afraid of changes, as they are good for any society and will be good for SNS members as well.
