Multimedia installation „Theatre – Beauty of Creating New: Mira, the first 100 years“ will be open on 22nd January at 12 PM in Bitef Theatre, the organizers announced.

The authors of the installation are Jelena Stojanovic, Vesna Bogunovic, and Jelena Bogavac, and the exhibition is being held on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the founder of Bitef Theatre and the Belgrade International Theatre Festival – BITEF, Mira Trailović.

„Through the photographs and audio recordings of Mira’s contemporaries, friends, and close associates, we remember the people and events that have marked and intersected their lives with hers,“ Bitef Theatre announced.

As announced, the interviewees in the materials are Olga Milicevic Nikolic, Borka Pavicevic, Jelisaveta Seka Sablic, Vera Cukic, Vera Konjovic, Todor Lalicki, Petar Maric, Milan Caci Mihailovic, Aleksandar Sasha Gruden, Vladimir Vlada Tekic, and Novica Nikic.

Also present are Mila Stanojevic Bajford, Ljubomir Simovic, Dejan Cavic, Nada Sanader, Milena Dragic Sevic, Bojana Andric, Mirjana Radosevic, Branka Krilovic, Svetozar Cvetkovic, Fedja Stojanovic, Ivana Vujic, Aleksandra Ilic, Suncica Milosavljevic, Gorica Mojovic, Leila Ruzdic Trifunovic, Dobrila Stojnic, and Roberto Culi.

The organizers thanked for the „valuable photographs“ to the Museum of Theatre Arts, the Historical Archive of the City of Belgrade, the Center for Cultural Decontamination, the Atelje 212 Theatre, Mirjana Radosevic, Vukica Mikaci, Bojana Andric, Olivija Mihajlovic Domic, Todor Lalicki, and the Milićević family.
