Ivanka Trump, Donald Trump’s daughter who was injured in an assassination attempt at a rally in Pennsylvania yesterday, responded after the attack.

Two years ago today, my mom passed away. I believe she was watching over Dad last night during the attempt on his life. I miss her every day and pray for the safety of the family and friends she left behind. – tweeted Ivanka Trump.

Ivana Trump was the mother of Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Eric Trump. She died in 2022 at the age of 73.

Ivanka Trump also spoke out immediately after the attack on her father:

Thank you for the love and prayers for my father and for the other victims of today’s senseless violence in Butler, Pennsylvania. I am grateful to the Secret Service and all other officers for their quick and decisive actions today. I continue to pray for our country. I love you dad, today and always.

Earlier, Donald Trump Jr. also spoke out on social media with a photo showing his father with a bloody ear and cheek, with a raised fist and the American flag in the background, while Secret Service agents urgently rush him off stage.

He will never stop fighting to save America, Donald Trump Jr. wrote.

Reminder, the attack on the former US president was carried out by a young man named Thomas Matthew Crooks (20).

He posted a video on social media prior to the attack in which he said:

I am Thomas Matthew Crooks. I hate Republicans, I hate Donald Trump.

The attacker was eliminated by the Secret Service, and another person from the audience was shot by the assailant and died.
