Hollywood actor Ryan Gosling, who perfectly fit into the role of Ken, recently revealed the reason why he still defends his daughters from watching the movie „Barbie“.

The actor admitted that he has mixed emotions when it comes to the movie in which he plays Ken and that is why he believes that his daughters are not ready to watch this movie.

He doesn’t want his daughters to identify him with the role of Ken.

Despite revealing that he took on the role because his daughters love Barbie dolls, the actor recently joked at the Santa Barbara Film Festival that he doesn’t know if anyone should watch their father play Ken.

– I don’t know what age is good to see your father playing Ken. It’s getting pretty crazy – Gosling said.

He admitted that he couldn’t completely ban his daughters from watching part of the „Barbie mania“ so they watched some scenes and one day were on the set when he filmed a dance for the movie.

He also previously admitted that he did not play with Barbie dolls as a boy, so his daughters helped him approach the role of Ken.

Gosling has two daughters with actress Eva Mendez: Esmerelda (9) and Amada (7).

The movie „Barbie“ is one of the most successful movies, it has managed to earn more than a billion dollars and „earned“ a Golden Globe as the best blockbuster.
